One day, while working on a project about love and relationships, he stumbles upon an old, weathered photograph tucked inside an antique book at a street market. The picture, showing a beautiful young woman and a man in an intimate embrace, feels strangely familiar.
Intrigued, David begins investigating the story behind the photograph. His search leads him to Amara (Chioma Nwaoha), a reserved yet captivating woman who works at an art gallery. When he shows her the photograph, Amara’s face turns pale—it’s a picture of her late parents, taken on the day they vowed to defy all odds for love.
As David and Amara dig deeper, they uncover a heart-wrenching story: Amara’s parents were lovers torn apart by societal expectations. Their love was forbidden, and they had planned to elope, but fate had other plans. The man in the photograph, Amara’s father, mysteriously disappeared the same night they were meant to leave together.
