In a video shared on social media, he denied all accusations, stating, “I never was a rapist,” and emphasized that all his sexual encounters were consensual.
The charges include rape, indecent assault, oral rape, and sexual assault, tied to incidents in Bournemouth and Westminster, London, during the specified period. The investigation was launched following media reports in 2023, particularly from The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches, which highlighted accusations from four women, including one who was 16 at the time. Brand is scheduled to appear in court on May 2, 2025.
Brand has continued to deny the allegations, asserting that all of his past relationships were consensual. Authorities are encouraging others with relevant information to come forward as legal proceedings unfold. Brand, who has also ventured into online content about wellness and conspiracy theories, remains a controversial figure amidst these developments.
