Hisaab Barabar (2025) is an Indian Hindi-language satirical action-comedy film directed by Ashwni Dhir, starring R. Madhavan as Radhe Mohan Sharma, a railway ticket examiner.
Radhe is a diligent and intelligent individual who, while going through his daily routine, stumbles upon irregularities in his bank account that lead him to uncover a massive financial scam involving Micky Mehta, a powerful banker played by Neil Nitin Mukesh.
The film’s narrative follows Radhe’s journey as he sails through systemic corruption, and as he confronts a moral dilemma when he realizes that exposing the truth could come at great personal cost. Along the way, Radhe’s determination to uncover the truth pushes him into the complex world of high-stakes financial fraud and corruption.
The film also features Kirti Kulhari and Rashami Desai in supporting roles, further enriching the storyline with strong performances.
Hisaab Barabar premiered at the 55th International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 26, 2024, before being released on ZEE5 for streaming on January 24, 2025. The film is available in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu for broader audience reach.
