Dinner directed by Jay Franklyn Jituboh, is a compelling Nigerian drama that takes place over the course of a seemingly simple dinner gathering. The story revolves around Teni and Kunle, a couple who invite their closest friends over for an intimate evening. What starts as a casual gathering quickly descends into an emotionally charged confrontation as secrets are uncovered and unresolved tensions bubble to the surface.

As the evening progresses, the guests – each with their own personal struggles and hidden truths – become entangled in a web of lies, betrayal, and emotional turmoil. The dinner, which was supposed to be a celebration of friendship and togetherness, becomes a battleground where past grievances, misunderstandings, and long-held secrets threaten to tear relationships apart. As the pressure mounts, the characters are forced to confront their issues, leading to a dramatic and often intense unraveling of their lives.

The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Deyemi Okanlawon, Lydia Forson, Kehinde Bankole, and Yomi Fash-Lanso, whose performances add depth and authenticity to the story. Their portrayals of complex characters who struggle with love, trust, and personal dilemmas bring an emotional intensity to the film.

Through its exploration of themes like betrayal, friendship, loyalty, and the complexities of human relationships, Dinner offers a gripping look at how the smallest moments of truth can have the biggest consequences. The film deftly blends drama and suspense, capturing the tension of an evening that starts with laughter but ends with painful revelations and powerful confrontations.
