Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Afolayan has penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, filmmaker Okiki Afolayan, ahead of his 40th birthday on February 2. In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, Bimbo described Okiki as her “answered prayer” and “the love of her life,” expressing deep gratitude for their journey together.
She wrote, “My Lawrence @okikiafolayan, the one I prayed for, my answered prayer, my hardworking husband, the most supportive… You are not just my man, you are my home, my rest, and my safe place.” Bimbo also conveyed her excitement for his upcoming milestone, stating that her love for him couldn’t be confined to a single day.
The couple, who married in October 2018, have two children together. Okiki also shared his anticipation for his 40th birthday on Instagram, captioning a photo with, “4TH FLOOR LOADING, FEB 2ND BABY, IN ADVANCE OMO AFOLAYAN, EKUN OKO AGBEKE.”
