Veteran Nollywood actress Ayo Adesanya has shared her thoughts on the increasing popularity of artificial beauty enhancements, such as the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), within the Nollywood industry.
During a conversation with The Nation Newspaper at a recent movie premiere, she cautioned that, as with many past trends, the current attachment with such enhancements may not last. She pointed out that trends in the Nigerian movie industry are ever-changing and some, like this one, may eventually fade away.
Adesanya emphasized that talent should always take precedence over superficial features. She expressed that actors should prioritize honing their craft, rather than focusing on physical attributes, adding that not every movie needs to revolve around appearances like body shape.
