Nollywood actor Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, has publicly apologized to fellow comedian Ganiyu Kehinde, also known as Ijoba Lande, for engaging in a sexual encounter with Lande’s estranged wife, Darasimi (Dara). This apology comes after Baba Tee initially denied the allegations and challenged Lande to provide evidence.
In a recent interview, Baba Tee admitted to the encounter, explaining that it occurred during a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ with Dara and another actress, Marygold. He claimed that Marygold introduced Dara as a content creator, not revealing her marriage to Lande. Baba Tee stated that he only learned of Dara’s marital status after the incident. He expressed remorse, saying, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge…Hmmm. I fear women.”
Following the interview, Baba Tee took to his official Facebook page to reiterate his apology, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge…Hmmm. I fear women.”
This incident has drawn significant attention within the Nigerian entertainment industry, highlighting issues of personal conduct and professional relationships among colleagues.
