Popular Nigerian comedian and activist Mr Macaroni has expressed his frustration over the lack of accountability in Nigeria, stating that the country has “no consequences for actions.”
In a fiery post shared on his social media platforms, he lamented how individuals in positions of power and influence often act with impunity, knowing they will face no repercussions. He wrote:
“In this country, people do whatever they like because there are no consequences for actions! The more power you have, the more untouchable you become. It is exhausting!”
His statement has sparked discussions online, with many Nigerians agreeing that corruption, injustice, and lack of accountability remain major issues in the country.
Mr Macaroni, known for his activism and strong stance on social justice, has consistently spoken out against bad governance, police brutality, and oppression in Nigeria. His latest remarks reflect the growing frustration among citizens over the lack of justice and fairness in the system.
On his twitter handle he wrote;
“It’s not as if these countries that we call “Saner climes” are not corrupt oo. The difference between these countries and Nigeria is the sense of accountability at the very least. In Nigeria, there is no regard for law and order”.
