Adesua shared her experience in response to the heartbreaking case of Jess Cronshaw, a pregnant woman in the UK who tragically took her own life after enduring extreme morning sickness that left her confined to bed. Jess’s mother, Susan Cronshaw, revealed that her daughter felt unheard and unsupported by medical professionals, which worsened her mental health struggles.
In an Instagram post, Adesua voiced her frustration over the widespread misunderstanding of hyperemesis gravidarum, stressing that it is far more serious than regular morning sickness and has a profound impact on daily life.
