Prime Video has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated third season of The Wheel of Time will debut on March 13, 2025. Based on Robert Jordan’s legendary The Wheel of Time series, the new season will adapt The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in the saga, and promises to deliver even more intrigue, action, and fantasy as the epic story continues.
After Rand al’Thor’s hard-won victory against the Dark One’s most powerful servant, Ishamael, Season 3 will see a deeper exploration of the series’ central characters and their increasingly complex relationships. As Rand’s journey takes him to the Aiel Waste, new challenges await, while a divided White Tower and the rise of the Black Ajah threaten the stability of the world.
Season 3 will also delve into the growing power of the Aes Sedai, the ongoing struggle for control of the fate of the world, and the continued evolution of Moiraine Sedai, whose role in Rand’s destiny grows even more pivotal.
New faces are set to join the already impressive cast. Shohreh Aghdashloo (known for her role in The Expanse) will portray Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan, a formidable member of the Red Ajah, while Olivia Williams (best known for The Crown) steps into the role of Queen Morgase Trakand, ruler of Andor.
