The 2025 film Sky Force is a gripping historical action-drama inspired by real events from the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, centering on India’s first airstrike—a daring mission targeting Pakistan’s heavily fortified Sargodha airbase.

The story follows a young, inexperienced pilot (played by newcomer Veer Pahariya) who joins the Indian Air Force during rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Under the mentorship of an experienced officer (acted by Akshay Kumar), he learns key lessons about courage, patriotism, and self-sacrifice. As the conflict increases, the Indian Air Force devises a bold, high-stakes plan to weaken the enemy by launching an unexpected airstrike.

The mission is full of with difficulties, including technical failures, fierce enemy fire, and personal sacrifices. Beyond the professional challenges, the pilots face emotional struggles, such as strained relationships and the fear of not returning home. Sara Ali Khan adds an emotional dimension to the story as the love interest of Veer’s character, while Nimrat Kaur plays a crucial role as a senior officer masterminding the operation.

The film concludes with a tribute to the unrecognized heroes of the Indian Air Force, honoring their vital contributions to history and their role in safeguarding the nation’s power.
